There are no required course materials. All content will be provided online throughout your training program.
Yes and no. Courses that are instructor-led will be noted in the program description on our website. Some courses, such as Retail Consultant, are self-paced.
We will assign an instructor(s) that will issue assignments, participate in discussion groups, provide feedback and assessment. All of our programs are asynchronous, which means that although you have an instructor assigned to you, you do not need to be simultaneously logged into the course. You will have structured assignments, but can complete the week-to-week requirements at your own pace.
Our courses are competency-based and successful completion is established as either a pass or a fail. Badges are awarded as a form of certification.
A badge tells the full story of a student’s achievements by providing portable and relevant information about their skills and accomplishments to potential employers.
The three levels of badging are:
> Apprentice
> Intermediate
> Master
Badges are shareable for free across the web, wherever students wish to display them. They can be stored in Mozilla Backpack, enabling students to store and move them between different platforms. This ensures that students can organize and share their badges at their own discretion.
