Facility Design
Whether you plan to do a new build out or convert an existing structure, our team has the experience to design it from scratch.
The facility design is an integral step of planning a commercial cannabis production facility, whether it be indoor warehouse or greenhouse or outdoor production. The Cannabis Compliance Inc. team has been involved with many licensed producers and knows what is most important in bringing the concept to reality.
Whether the organization plans to do a new build out or convert an existing structure, we at CCI can assist in meeting your goals. Input from our cultivation experts can aid in workflow and logistic decisions. We provide insight into the proper placement of grow rooms and equipment. Good Production Practices are aimed at the sanitation program and quality of production, along with the logistics for maximum efficiency.
We can recommend the best-in-class designers and installers to complete the project to the specifications of the desired site, the determination of planning for future expansion, and the accessibility for shipping and receiving of goods and materials.
Facility design considers the site location in accordance with Health Canada’s regulations under the Cannabis Act, provincial regulations, and municipal bylaws. Approvals of site location are an essential starting point when planning the facility design phase.
Things to consider; does the site require additional infrastructure or improvements to be able to support the functionality of the facility. Availability of power, water source and quality of water along with industrial building or agriculture zoning. The determination of planning for future expansion of the facility.
The facility design will consider a good sanitation program to decrease the risk of any contamination to the operation. We study floor plans to maximize production flow and efficiency throughout the facility which in turn increases productivity and provides a healthy and safe work environment for all employees.
