New classes of cannabis including edible cannabis, cannabis extracts and cannabis topicals will be added to the Cannabis Regulations on October 17^th, 2019. The production and sale of these products will be exclusive to the Processor Class licence (micro or standard).

As of May 8^th, 2019, applications for Cultivation, Processing and Sale (with possession) will only be reviewed once an Evidence Package is submitted. If your application and Evidence Package is submitted after October 17^th, 2019, all requirements of the new regulations will need to be included.

If you would like to submit a Processor application to produce/sell the new classes of cannabis please connect with your CCI Business Development Consultant to discuss next steps.

If you have already engaged CCI in a Processor application but it will not be submitted until after October 17^th, 2019, please contact your CCI Business Development Consultant for a proposal to develop the bridging documentation which demonstrates compliance to the updated Cannabis Regulations. An application submitted after October 17^th, 2019 must meet the new regulatory requirements.
