Export Permit
The export of medical cannabis products between countries, including those made from low THC cannabis as well as products containing CBD, is tightly controlled and subject to international drug conventions.
Approval must be granted by the national governments of both the importing and exporting countries before shipment can occur.
Cannabis Compliance Inc. can assist you with filing and submitting applications for export permits provided you meet the rules and regulations set forth by the regulatory agency responsible for medical cannabis in your country. Please note that any applications for export permits can only be made for medical or scientific purposes and must be pursuant to a valid import permit issued by a country with a federal medical cannabis framework in place. It should also be noted that exporting to markets within the European Union will require a Canadian licence holder to achieve certification of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) set by Eudralex and various health authorities in the EU (see section on cGMP).
