Standard Operating Procedures
Our team will deftly navigate the process and prepare Standard Operating Procedures on behalf of your organization.
At Cannabis Compliance Inc., we have put together a team of highly qualified professionals with past experience working for current commercial licensed producers that have obtained approval under Health Canada’s Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) regulations. Our team will navigate the process, prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs),on behalf of your organization and perform on-site training for employees. Training is required before any employee initiates work in a regulated environment. Employees will require on-site training to ensure the organization is compliant with the Cannabis Regulations from day one.
It is common with most commercial industries to develop SOPs which can enhance the overall performance of the business. SOPs create efficiency, quality output and uniformity of performance, while reducing miscommunication and failure to comply with industry regulations. SOPs help ensure that a company’s standards and objectives are met.
An SOP is a procedure specific to your operation that describes the activities necessary to complete tasks in accordance with industry regulations and, provincial and federal laws. SOPs are policies, procedures and standards to be presented and submitted to Health Canada that defines the expected practices of your business where quality standards and record keeping methods exist. They are also one of the measures by which Health Canada will determine compliance both before and post licencing.
Licensed Producers must also meet other requirements, such as Good Production Practices (GPP), sanitation program and establishment of a recall system. Information on GPP can mainly be found under Part 5 of the Cannabis Regulations. These requirements will be prepared by our quality assurance experts and will revolve around all activities of the cultivation program.
