Quality Assurance
Quality is generally referred to as the degree to which the product or service meets the customer’s expectations.
At CCI, we understand the importance of establishing a solid quality assurance program at licensed cannabis facilities in order to support cultivation, harvesting, processing, and other departments to ensure compliance with Health Canada and other applicable regulations.
The goal of every Quality Assurance person at a site is to ensure quality is maintained through the life cycle of the product from the receipt of starter materials to the final packaging and labelling of the end product. This process is managed by developing a Quality Management System (QMS). The QMS is a set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and an inspection and monitoring program of products, processes, facilities, equipment, and supply chain to ensure conformance to specifications.
The Quality and Regulatory Consultants at CCI are subject matter experts and have a strong understanding in the development of a QMS at licensed sites and will help develop the Readiness, Auditing, and Validation programs you will need to get started and become compliant with Health Canada standards.
