Growing Method & Plan

Our experts can aid you in determining which model best suits your
needs based on your preference and available space.

One of the first things to consider when entering the field of becoming a commercial licensed producer (LP) of medicinal marijuana is a sound and practical growing method and plan. The way you grow your product and develop your internal culture with employees reflects on your brand how it will be accepted among consumers.

With cannabis cultivation, there are many ways to produce a quality product. From simple designs to high-tech alternatives. With various methods and configurations our cultivation expertise can aid in which model best suits your needs. From pots with soil, drip systems, ebb and flow, vertical farming to aeroponic production.

Lighting is at the forefront of any growing method. Nothing beats the power of the sun when it comes to plant growth. Nonetheless supplemental lighting is essential for year-round quality growth even in greenhouse production environments. New and ever improving existing technologies are continuously hitting the market.

There are many lighting choices and suppliers available in todays market. Liquid-Emitting-Diode (LED) technology is gaining popularity and can sever its purpose in cannabis production. High-Intensity-Discharge (HID) lighting has been proven to deliver high quality and yield. Florescent lighting is efficient both from energy use and a growth perspective, especially when it comes to producing young plant material. Plasma lighting is relatively new and showing quality results in horticulture/cannabis operations. Each light source may have it place at certain stages of the crop cycle.

We can recommend and walk through many different models, discuss pros and cons of each systems. The decision may be based on client’s preference, available space and the ability to produce high quality end-product.

After initial consultation and growing methods are established the cultivation expert will develop a 52-week crop schedule customized to the project. The crop schedule includes such events as propagating, planting, growing on, nutrients, Co2, pinching/topping, thinning, monitoring for pests, disease prevention practices, flowering cycle and timing of harvest dates.
